ACCESS is pleased to announce the third annual Youth Making a Difference Workshop for high school students. This year's workshop, hosted in partnership with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, will be held on Friday, April 29 in Brampton with the theme "Celebrating the Spirit of Social Justice". The Brampton Mayor's Youth Team is also supporting the event, to be held at the Brampton Soccer Centre, one of Brampton's newest community facilities. The day-long event will feature entertaining and motivational presentations, as well as interactive and educational workshops to inspire the next generation of youth activists. A range of local non-profit organizations will be present to offer volunteer opportunities and community service tips. The aim of the Youth Making a Difference Workshop is to educate, empower, raise awareness and work in solidarity with youth in Peel and beyond.

High school students from across Region of Peel are invited to participate. Group and school registration is available online (teacher supervisor required). Students from the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Boards are asked to register through their schools, which will be receiving details.
